For most people, their ultimate goal when learning Spanish is to communicate with other people. And the most natural, frequent, and practical way of communication is oral interaction. Being able of having a conversation in Spanish allows us to better understand the culture, the History, the traditions of Spanish people, and Spanish-speaking countries.
However, becoming fluent in a foreign language is not that easy. Many people get frustrated when they realize they have been studying Spanish for years, but they are still not able to speak with confidence. Well, there's some bad news, but there's also some good news here.
The bad ones are that conversation is not something that you are going to improve on your own. Unlike other aspects of the Spanish language (such as grammar, vocabulary, or listening skills) that you can just self-study, conversational skills require another person to talk with. Well, you can always talk to yourself, but be sure it won’t work out as well as if you were having a real conversation.
The good news? The only thing you need to become fluent in Spanish is to start talking (and keep doing it long enough). If the person you are talking with is a native Spanish speaker, not only will you become fluent, but your pronunciation will be better and your vocabulary will sound more natural.
We are here to help with that. We want you to become fluent in Spanish as much as you do. We want you to feel comfortable and confident when speaking in Spanish. That's why, at ELINQUA, we have a team of great Spanish native teachers with a lot of experience teaching both in-person and online. In every class, they will help you become more confident when speaking in Spanish.
