You might know that in order to say 'I like/I don't like something' in Spanish, you have to use 'me gusta/no me gusta'. First, take a look at the chart below:
As you can see in this chart, depending on if the person who is speaking likes something or not, your answer will be different. Your answer will also vary whether you like or not what that person is talking about.
1) If someone likes something and you like it too:
- I like nature. And you? = Me gusta la naturaleza. ¿Y a ti?
- Me too. = A mí también.
2) If someone likes something, but you don't:
- I like nature. And you? = Me gusta la naturaleza.
- I don't. = A mí no.
3) If someone doesn't like something, but you do:
- I don't like fish. And you? = No me gusta el pescado. ¿Y a ti?
- I do. = A mí sí.
4) If someone doesn't like something, and you don't either:
- I don't like fish. And you? = No me gusta el pescado. ¿Y a ti?
- A mí tampoco.
